HI! I just got engaged 2 weeks ago and my finance and I are hoping for a September 2010 wedding. Looking at this site I already feel so overwhelmed! Does anyone have any suggestions for catering halls. I only want 1 wedding at a time and don't really want a catering hall. I would love to do it at a mansion or something like that! Thanks for your help!!!

Congrats! I dont really know of many halls that are one wedding at a time and mansion like. Maybe, try the Sandcastle? I think its gorgeous and only 1 wedding at a time.

I know the Sand Castle and the Floral Terrace do only one wedding at a time, but they are not mansion-like.

I wanted the same things in a RH that you did. The ones with a mansion feel that have 1 wedding at a time that I looked at were: Woodlands Glen Cove Mansion Royalton De Seversky (where I wound up booking) Bourne Mansion (FM me for info on this one - I almost booked here and can tell you why I didn't) Old Field Club

HI!!!!! Welcome to LI Weddings!! Take a look at Flowerfield, I don't know if it is too far out east for you. But I wanted the same things you did. I wanted only one wedding and I wanted it to be different. Flowerfield is set back in a neighboorhood. The CH room is different and the grounds are beautiful!! I also know the Glen Cove Mansion is beautiful!!! Good luck in your search, as stressful as it gets, enjoy it all!!

oh, carlyle is hosting the 2009 us open so they are going through some renovations right now so keep that in mind when u go but it's also going to be BEAUTIFUL when it's done!!!!
