if some vendor ever write me this sort of message I would cancel the check ASAP even if I had to pay a fee with the bank. who does she think she is?

Yikes. Well that was very rude of her to say such a thing, I mean I do understand she probably thought you forgot or just didn't want to pay her, but I would explain to her that you have been crazy busy planning a wedding, and if she doens't understand, then f her. I'd go somewhere else! Esp since you said you didn't love it!! good luck!
