Help!!!!

I'm inviting my girls over for a potluck to ask them to be in the wedding but I don't know how to tell them who the maid of honor is. I already asked her and you accepted but I have one bridesmaid who may be offended. How do I tell everyone without it being awkward?? lol

Mmm...thats a hard one ...but to tell you the truth that BM should be happy that she is in the wedding to begin with ...but if u dont want to be be weird I would just ask her to come over earlier and just tell her ...but if anything I would just say it in front of everyone ..and if this girl is hurt just tell her that she is in the bridal party and she should be happy ..good luck im sure it will be fine

Yeah I figured I would just announce it. This girl was almost the MOH but we had a little disagreement that lead me to decided I DO NOT want to have to deal with that during the planning the process but she's been my friend since childhood so I want to keep her in the party. It seems like she's been kissing my butt since I got engaged though so I'm not really sure if she thinks she's getting that role or if she's whatever about it... ugh! I really hate to have to worry about things like this.

It's so Hard to decide between my close girl friends and my sisters. I may go with not having a formal MOH. Any thoughts on that?

Like I tell everyone... It's your wedding girl! Do whatever you feel is best!
My sister is too young to be the Maid of honor so I made her my Maiden of Honor and choose a close childhood friend , deserving of that role to be my Maid of Honor. It's really to your discretion. Don't put yourself in a tough position because you think you have to do something. Let me know what you decide! Hope that helped lol.
