Ok- so a friend has a choice of getting married on:
a Saturday at the Watermill or a Sunday at the Carlyle... or Carltun
What do u think....
She asked me for help but I am biased...

I'm completely biased, as we're having our wedding on a Sunday night at Carlyle....so.... that would have to be my vote. I fell in love with the place and the customer service. It's really about which place she feels most comfortable and most fits what she 'sees' in her own mind when she pictures her wedding... All great options, though. Can't go wrong!

ETA - but if we're going just based on looks, the Carltun would be my pick of the three

I would pick a Saturday night over a Sunday night for the convenience of my out of town guests. But if all of your guests are local, and your wedding will end early enough for people to get home and go to work the next day, then have it on a Sunday.

I love Saturday night weddings and I have heard great things about Watermill. So that was my choice.

OMG...I definitely say choose where over when! I'd say the Carlyle or Carltun on a Sunday HANDS DOWN!!!
I had to make the same choice, but it didn't take me long to decide that I'd be soooo much happier at a place like the Carlyle (on a Friday night) than somewhere else on a Saturday! It's only a day and the people you really want there will be there no matter what. I didn't want to have it on a Saturday just to accomodate people I barely know. Our close friends and family will be happy to take the day off...and they will still have the rest of the weekend ahead of them.
To be perfectly honest, I think I'd do a Fri or Sun over Sat no matter where it was because it's always less and why pay thousands more just to accomadate everyone else?...just my feeling.

I have been to the Carlyle and Carltun but not the Watermill. My vote is for the Carltun but they are all gorgeous!

My sister got married at the watermill so that place is great BUT definately the Carltun. That's my pick. I haven't been to any wedding at the carlyle.

I'm getting enough complaints about Sunday morning, if I had it at night my FFIL would whine twice as much. Anyway, since I'm having it there I say Watermill.
