Any 'Sunday' November04 Brides???
I booked the hall from 6:30-11:30pm on a Sunday and had a two people tell me they cant come because it on a Sunday and they have to get up early the following day....

Should I expect a huge number of guest not to show??? If so should i overinvite?

Not for nothing but if I wanted a Sunday wedding at night I'm going ot have it. I mean most people can take 1 day off or 1/2 day off the next day right? As long as they are given enough time I think that that is OK. Weddings are expensive and having it on a Sunday makes it easier on the couple - some can afford to do more since it's less expensive on a Sunday. (ie: have a viennese or more food at cocktail hour, etc). If your guests can't take 1 day or a half day off to enjoy your wedding without freaking about getting up the next day for work then they don't know how to enjoy themselves!

I am having my wedding at 5pm on a Friday. I am hoping most my friends will take the afternoon off. I don't know - I can't think of any that wouldn't but it could happen. HOwever I am not that upset since i know all of FH's friends will definitely take it off. Half are coming over from Ireland so they'll already be on holiday from work!

I'm having mine on a Friday also, but I only expect really close people to attend the 3:30 ceremony. If people are working, the cocktail hour starts at 7:30, so I think they have time to get there. Some people have more of a chance at getting out earlier for work on Fridays also. I know I do sometimes!
