YES!!!!
I booked a Sunday from 6-11:30. I would not worry about it. Yes, some people will leave early and some wont come at all. But it doesnt matter! Honestly, if someone said that to me I would be really ****ed off. I mean, really, what time do they go to bed!!!!???
Where are you getting married?

Re: HELP Any 'Sunday' November04 Brides???
the general rule has been that 20% usually decline. But i have heard that sometimes almost 30% can say no. We have to guarentee 175 people for our wedding. So our guest list is around 250 people. How many people did you guarentee?
Hi I guarnteed 100 and ill invite around 140ish, Ill be happy if 120 ADULTS show show up... what do you think? and thanks

Re: HELP Any 'Sunday' November04 Brides???
I would hope that your guests would take a vacation day the next day if that is the case!
I am having my wedding on a Friday at 5pm. Someone complained to my FH and he said 'well most of my guests are coming from overseas and are taking up to a week off so I think you can take at least a 1/2 day off for it'. It's just 1 day, it won't kill them.

Re: HELP Any 'Sunday' November04 Brides???
hey I am also a sunday in november the 7th 6:30 to 11:30 and to top that off all of the FH's family is out of towners... so lately I have been concerned that its a sunday AND people have to travel so they would def have to take that monday off but like my mom said, people get vacation days and we are gonna send out STD cards to give people a lot of time to plan...
Smart idea, how soon do yu send out 'Save the date' cards??
I also dont like that my ceramony starts at 3:00 till about 4:00 ish and the sun sets at 4:42 or 4:46 pm that day, so i was worried about pics.... I wish there was a weather (temp.) almanac for that far in advance i was hoping to do out door pics...
what do you have planned?

Re: HELP Any 'Sunday' November04 Brides???
i am a 03 sunday november bride and we didn't have that problem at all - if you think about it - people (comign from out of twon) take off friday for a sat wedding anyway..so now they work friday and take off monday!) some people will never be happy when you book it so enjoy and don't worry to much!`

Re: HELP Any 'Sunday' November04 Brides???
and I was also thinking... it's only one day that they have to take off at work. People get vacation time and personal days so if you let them know far in advance then they can get the day off. I have come to realize that the people who really want to be at the wedding will make the effort and get there.
p.s. I haven't even started to think about the HM yet...

Re: HELP Any 'Sunday' November04 Brides???
I didn't want to do a Sunday wedding only because I don't want people to have to worry about going to work the next morning. Especially if they want to drink and party it up! But I wouldn't NOT go to a wedding just because it was on a Sunday. I might just leave a little earlier, or I would try to take the Monday off if I could afford to use a vacation day.
