Help - BP and Shower Issues
Hi Ladies,
I need some advice. Sorry in advance for the novel.
My MOH lives in Chicago and can only come in one weekend for the shower or BP and then back again for the wedding. She can't afford to fly in 3 times, which I totally understand.
Both events are a surprise, but in order to have my MOH there, the BP needs to be on a Friday since the shower is on Sunday and I guess some other girls can't do that Saturday.
BUT my girls are asking me to take off that Friday (whenever it is) and I have practically NO days left to take since I used them all for the actual wedding, PLUS i dont know if I want to have it on a Friday where the girls are going to be tired and we wouldn't get to leave until like 7pm at the earliest and I wanted to do Foxwoods (but that can change), so that just seems like it would ****, but on the same hand, I don't want to be selfish and not have my MOH there?
I also suggested having the BP a week before the wedding and have my MOH stay the whole week since she has other friends in NY, but she can't.
So basically after my long story, is it better to have the BP on a Friday night and have people be tired and me use another day off from work, or do it another weekend and just not have my MOH be there, but she would be there for the shower?
