Hi! I am having a really hard time deciding on my cp's.. I originally wanted a high branch style cp, but then got nervous that they would annoy my guests, so I decided I would go low with some petals and candles.. but my concern is they will look cheesy or lost in the mansion..an advice or opinions would be greatly appreciated!!

I wouldgo with the high CP...they room is so grand and the ceilling is so high that the small cp will be lost...You can def get away with a mixture..some high and some low...just my opinion

what about high CPs that have a really slender vase/pedestal so people can still see each other from opposite sides of the table? i'm having a similar dilemma, and this was the best compromise i could come up with.

I think you should take advantage of the space and do large! The thin vase idea sounds good. Use a lot of candles too!!! It will look gorgeous!
