I need your help coming up with a good present to give my older sister for her engagement. As some background, this is my older sister who I am VERY close with. This will be her second marriage. Her fiance was also married before. They both have daughters from their previous marriages. They basically have everything household related thing they would need, as my sister owns a house. They aren't having a big wedding, just something small and intimate. That being said, I still want to get her something for an engagement present. I can't think of anything!!!! One of her friends already got her a picture frame, so that's out. But besides the fact, I want it to be a bit more substantial than that. Does anyone have any ideas??

I'd do something that would involve joining the families....what that is, I don't know! but I do love seeing second marriages where the kids are just as much a part of it and it may be nice to include them and your sis may really appreciate it.

How about something sentimental like a last name artistic photo frame?
Ahh I figured it out! Good old Etsy to the rescue as always!!!
I'm going to get her a personalized family platter. This woman would paint my sister, her fiance, their daughters and their cat on the platter! I'm going to have 'Our Family' put on it, with the quote 'There's beauty all around when there's love at home.'
SO EXCITED! I think it's a cute engagement keepsake.
