Help! Father/Daughter song -We are not 'close'

Hi Ladies,

I have seen it before but cant find the thread.

I am not CLOSE with my dad but we have a good relationship.

Im not Daddy's little girl, and I dont, exactly look up to him (wind beaneath my wings).

The only thing I can really come up with is 'over the rainbow'....

Help. Any suggestions please!!!!???!!!

I had a similar situation...I chose just the way you are by billy joel. I thought it made sense...bc even though are relationship is the way it is and he is the way he is...the song says that I love him just the way he is despite all of that...which is true!

OMG, I am going to dance with my dad to the same song!!! I am also not very close with my dad...he left when I was 6 months old. I felt that it was perfect for my situation too.

I am also dancing with my stepdad, to the song 'In My Life' by The Beatles. I am much closer with him and he loves The Beatles, so its perfect!

my cousin did kind of an upbeat song with his mom. It was really cute and you don't have to 'slow' dance...It was AS by Stevie Wonder. Really good song. I am prob doing Brown Eyed Girl b/c I feel uncomfortable doing a super slow song with my dad.
