Help find a venue - 100-120 ppl for $95-$120 pp - Sat night

Hi - I decided to sign up for an account here after having a very difficult time finding a venue!

I am looking to get married on Long Island, ideally on the North Shore or anywhere as far out as Hauppauge or so.

We will be having between 100-120 guests and a requirement is a venue that only does one event at a time and I would like my wedding to be on Saturday night, 11/05/2011.

Looking for a venue around $95-$120 per person.

Can you help? The two biggest problems I have had so far are either places that are very outdated and not well maintained and also places that require 200 minimum people.

What type of hall are you looking for? Do you want to have:
nice grounds?
water?
gardens?
outdoor ceremony site?
rustic feel?
1 wedding at a time or more?

i have been to a decent amount of halls and weddings and could help if you give me specifics!!

What have you already seen and did or did not like? We could provide lots of information and help if we have more information.

yeah that's probably hard for a saturday night and getting a 1 bride RH with a low minimum on the northshore.... have you thought of doing a friday or a sunday???

honestly, those same issues were what made FH and I choose originally a friday, but our date for our hall was taken so we picked the sunday. we are only having about 130 people so some places wouldn't even talk to us without guaranteeing more.

it was worth the day change for us to get the price that works with our budget. i dunno, you might have to be a little more flexible somewhere - if not the day of the week maybe a place with only 2 brides? (they do stagger start times)

Just a quick note on a couple of those that I already know don't work:

Woodbury Country Club - more than one event at a time
Old Field Club - too far out on the island
Fox Hollow - more than one event at a time

Since wedding will be in November, being on the water is not a requirement and an outdoor ceremony is likely out of the question.

Definitely one wedding at a time.

My hall, NRC, meets your requirements except that I am having my wedding on a Saturday day ..... exactly 52 weeks after yours! I know for a Saturday night they were much, much more pricey.

NRC also said weather permitting (meaning no rain), I can have my ceremony outside AND they will have a bartender outside.

check out Thatched Cottage. They will do a Saturday night for between 100-120 people and it's in your price range for November.

Try Milleridge Cottage. It definitely fits that price range, 1 wedding at a time and its in Jericho. If you want more info, FM me I will be glad to help!

The Mansion at Timber Point, catered by Lessing's should be in that price range and only one wedding at a time. It's in Great River.

I think Westbury Manor can do more than one at a time - so can Chateau Le Mer

Try Crestwood Manor in Northport

Im getting married there

Its one wedding at a time and holds up to 130.

Its also right in the price range you are looking for!
