Help from my fellow 2014 Brides Please!
Could anyone help with recommending venues in Nassau County? I am just starting the search and will be getting married in June of 2014.Does anyone know the cost pp of the Inn at New Hyde Park, de Seversky Mansion, Fox Hollow, or the Riviera?
Other places that were recommended to us were the Bridgeview Yacht Club, Chateau Briand, Floral Terrace, Westbury Manor, Watermill, and Milleridge Inn.
Obviously we are looking for a place that gives you the most for your moolah!
Any help would be greatly appreciated!

I'll FM you with a few quotes that I got for January 2014 but they're probably going to be completely different than what you'll hear for June! Good luck :)

Check out Sand Castle! You get a lot of bang for your buck! Same owner as the Floral Terrace. Both great places

I agree! We booked with Floral Terrace and got so much for our money - things that other places were charging a lot of additional money for.

stuart thomas manor in farmingdale has an all inclusive package.Veri's I know for June a friend was quoted $85pp
Allegra hotel in long beach (not sure if its there anymore after the hurricane however, they are usually around $140pp but from what I've heard you get more than your money's worth and the food is outstanding
Carlyle on the Green is very good, my friend is getting married in September there and is paying $159pp, however, is getting everything on the menu!- it is so beautiful there and their food is awesome!!!
hope that helps some what- heres a tip, try asking for no tax- if they give you the run around, keep asking them about it because places will remove the sales tax!!!

Thanks for your help everyone! We only have a few places left to look at (Hurricane Sandy pushed everything back... and destroyed my FH's parent's home) but so far it looks like Westbury Manor is the winner! Has anyone ever been to a wedding there?

My cousin got married at Westbury Manor and it was beautiful! They never had any complaints about anything except for the cake - I think it was the wrong flavor or something.

I went to a wedding at Westbury Manor once and it was wonderful. I really loved their outdoor cocktail hour and I enjoyed the food. I've heard mixed things about the cake and that people have had problems with that but at the wedding I was at it wasn't an issue.
