help going for marriage license tomorrow

We are planning to go the the town hall in hempstead I think???? I filled out the application online but they didnt give me info on LIL but the one in the 5 boros.......Also was I suppose to get somethig i the mail??? I am soo confused can I just go tomorrow without the online application???

which should I go to NOrth Hempstead or Hempstead...I have the florist tomorrow in Garden City park...

I'm not sure about Hempstead since I live in the Queens borough and work in Manhattan. I would suggest visiting Manhattan particularly early in the day. It's super fast only about 10 mins wait on line before getting directed to a counter who will type out your info on the computer. Make sure you have an ID with you (driver's license, passport, etc.). If you also want to do the ceremony at City Hall, there's a 24 hr. wait after you apply for your license. Hope this helps.

I went to town hall in Smithtown yesterday even though we live in Queens I felt LI would be much easier, they were so nice and friendly we were in and out in 10 minutes. We needed our birth certificate, driver's license, and proof of SS#

it is very simple to get your license. we went to the town hall in massapequa with only our birth certificates & drivers licenses. We had our SS cards and passports, just in case, but they weren't necessary. The woman there gave us the paperwork to fill out. We filled it out, she stamped it, we paid the $40 and we were on our way! In about a week or so you'll get it back in the mail and don't forget it on your wedding day!!
