I HAVE HEARD THAT YOU LADIES ARE SO HELPFUL N I AM IN NEED OF YOUR ASSISTANCE. I'M HAVING SUCH DIFFICULTY FINDING A RH THAT EVERYONE IN MY FAMILY HAS NOT UTILIZED YET!!
CAN ANYONE OFFER SOME SUGGESTIONS?? PREFERABLE ON LONG ISLAND, WITH A CLASSY EVEN MANHATTAN LIKE FEEL.NOT TO PRICEY MAYBE FROM $50-$80??
what time of year? What day of the week? How many people?
We need more info. Also, day weddings are usually cheaper.

I tried Bridgeview Yacht Club and was very disappointed, yet there was a 5 dollar difference between them and Venetian, which is sooooo worth the money. You get so much more in their offer and the view is quite breathtaking. I totally love it. Did I already mention..........VENETIAN YACHT CLUB!!!!

I'm not sure that I replied the right way so just in case I'm replying again.
1st thanks for everyone for the replies, I happy 2 b here.
The date we have in mind is Nov. 24, which is the day after thanksgiving or that weekend. We are pretty flexible with the dates right now, I just know that I would like to get married in the Fall 2007.
We are going to have anywhere from 150 guest and up.
Some of the places my family have used are Fox Hollow, Crest Hollow, Jericho Terrace, Oheka, Huntington Townhouse, Woodbury Country Club,Brentwood Country Club, Tribeca Rooftop, Royalton and Roslyn Claremont hotel, etc.
I have been looking and we are not to keen on mansions. Funny enough I had my heart set on Jericho Terrace until my cousin got married there this past July...LOL
We visited the Metropolitan over the weekend and it was cool, just have to see what mom says.(LOL). I'm going 2 look at the North Ritz, the pics look breathtaking on the website, as well the Venetian, and Bridgeview..... Thanks everyone who has already taken the time to answer my cry of HELP

Sands of Atlantic Beach Venetian Yacht Club Chataeu La Mar Leonards of Great Neck Sand Castle Floral Terrace- definately within that price range, and does one wedding at a time Crescent Beach CLub
We are using Hamlet Willow Creek... less than $80 for a saturday afternoon, great food and a really clean, new atmosphere. I don't know about 'Manhattan' feel... but it is a nice place.

We picked Westbury manor. It's beautiful there!!! We looked at so many.
