HELP!!! I HAVE NO IDEAS FOR FAVORS

for my e-party i made save the date cookies! I printed our picture on icing (with edible ink) and i did cut out circle sugar cookies and i decorated them. Pics in my album.

Also I just got this idea the other day. Theres a small plant called a money tree its a fengshui thing.Its for good luck. And you only water it when its bone dry. and if you get an off spring with 7 leaves it means wealth and good luck. its kind of cool bc it had a whole story behind it. you can get seedlings like that and give them out

How about a CD with your favorite songs or romantic songs on it (ex. Michael Buble)?

The wine is a great idea. Sometimes the local liquor stores are cheaper and same with full size bottles vs. the half size. You can get personalized labels printed and stick them to the back of each bottle this way you don't have to remove the wine's original front label. A pretty organza bottle bag and personalized tag would complete it well. Are you planning to give 1 pp or 1 per couple?

We were thinking of doing shot glasses with our monogram on them.... but now, we are thinking of making a donation instead. I am more excited about making a donation than wasting money on things that people will prob. forget to take home and then I'll just have a closet full of shotglasses lol

I've found that if you don't want to do a particular 'thing', it's best to do a donation to an organization that means something to you or FH and your families. That way, at least your money is going towards good, instead of a favor that half of your guests probably won't even take home.

We did donations in lieu of favors to honor our late dads. My other thoughts at the time we were deciding on favors were to do edible favors. One of my friends went to an evening wedding with an afterparty and they gave out breakfast in a box: a croissant, jam that the bride and her sis had made herself, and a couple of other cute breakfast things....one of my friends had a sand dollar theme and her mom made white chocolate sand dollars for the favors (yummy)!!!
