Help--I need advice--my first vent

I booked my florist last week. When I went there, I saw some stands but none that I liked. I asked if they had more and they said they did. I went back today and they only showed me the stands they had on display that I already said I didn't like. They had a photo album of other stands but I really didn't like them either. I left feeling very frustrated and upset. I know it may seem like it's just a stand (at least that's what FH says) but it's very important to me. I feel it is a big part of the room. So for the advice part....should I pay the 30% cancellation fee and just go with another florist or should I look for a place to buy the stands myself? I really want an antique gold thin(looks like a candlestick) tall stand. TIA

Can you supply the stands? If so, would they take off a comparable amount from each CP to make it worthwhile?

I really don't know if I can supply my own stands. I just don't want to use any of the ones they have. I'm new at booking all of this stuff so now I learned to ask a million questions before booking. I described the stand I wanted and he seemed to act as though he had it. Today was a different story though I'm not sure if they would take money off--I'm thinking that they prob won't bc it doesn't cost them anything.

They shouldn't charge you a cancellation fee if they told you they had other stands but actually don't.

Or you can rent/buy your own and have them deduct it from the price.

maybe you can rent them elsewhere

eta: if you do, try to work out a discount with your florist since you wont be using theirs
