Help! I need to find a movie about angels

Does anyone know a great movie with an angel as the central character - something other than 'It's a Wonderful Life.' Thanks!

These would have been my choices . . .

How about that one from the 80's 'Date With an Angel'- hehe.

There's also Wim Wenders Wings of Desire that is about angels. It's from 1987.

Bellepoque: Great minds really do think alike...I just noticed your post, just when I wrote this to a similar question on the 05 brides board
'City of Angels is an american remake of a MUCH better (and one of my all time favorite) movie(s) Wings of Desire. It is directed by Wim Wenders and is a about the angels who watch over Berlin. One of them falls in love with a trapeze artist and has to decide if it is bettter to have eternal life and never be known or is it better to be capable of being in love but having to die someday.'
I love love love that movie!
