We've been together for 5years and just got engaged to get married in 4 MONTHS I have the reception hall, dj, limo, photog all booked. I still need to pick out BM dresses, tux, ringbearer, flower girl, and jr bride, oh my I need to pick out a flower, and still haven't pick out invites let alone got my fiance to finish his list...not to mention i need to go dress shopping (i saw the one i love on line) Any pointers on how i can get this all in time!

Similar situation here...be METHODICAL :)...I have been nailing things one by one...do one thing at a time, so you don't forget...i noticed when i try to accomplish 10 things in 3 days, i tend to forget things...keep calm!
So far, it is working for me...I have almost all big things done!

Congrats! Best thing to do is make a list...if you can delegate stuff to someone do it...take it one day at a time, and one task at a time, and you will get it all done!

We decided end of Feb. to get married in August, it doesn't seem like a lot of time but it can be done. We still have 28 days to go and I am way ahead of the game, or so I think Just don't stress over it because that won't help.

Yay!! You can do it! Go dress shopping first, then the invites. I used einvite.com. They were fast and the invitations were gorgeous!!

well i finally found invites that i love, tried on the dress it is to die for, i need to order it now, i havent found the perfect bridemaids dress yet. i might no longer be an octoberr bride i might change my date to november, boy oh boy. Question is there a definative meaning behind wedding favors?
Congrats on getting so much done in such a short time! By the way your dress is simply stunning. I was tossed between a Pronovias, a Maggie, and the one I ended up getting Private Label G.
Favors are a way of thanking your guests for coming and being a part of your special day. Otherway to go is to donate to a charity. For instance FH and I are donating to Adelphi Breast Cancer program because when my mom had breast cancer they were so helpful to her & I (FH mother also had breast cancer). We wanted to honor both of them by doing the donation and were honoring our dad's by having them sign our marriage cerificate. If you chose to donate most charities will provide donation scrolls, unless you chose to make them yourself (we did). HTH

thanks so much for the encouragement. one of my questions were (not to knock any one for chooseing) but i dont understand the ice cream scooper as a favor. can anyone explain this on to me. i recieved it once i thought it was cool i still use it till this day but wont want to give it out personally.
