Help! Just Met with Photographer

So i just met with a photographer who we really love. We've seen his work done before and really want to book him...Here's the catch: My FH land I live in Orlando and the photographer is here too...So we would have to fly him up and cover travel expenses in addition to his services for our wedding on LI.

Can you girls FM some recent quotes you have received from photographers in LI? Not sure what is a good price is up there

It depends on your budget and what kind of package you want. Most places sort of let you put together your own package. Some people just want CD's. Some want elaborate albums and lots of prints. There are so many amazing photographers on Long Island, so I think I would pick one from here and avoid the hassle of flying one in.

ETA: maybe post your photogs style and then people can recommend some to you based on that

if you search for photographer threads you will get lots of names of places up here and alot give you those photgs websites so you could look at their work. that might help to find someone from up here to do your wedding.

we used Silverfox and were very happy with the pics. some in my album and a slideshow in video lib with more so you can check those for their style. price for just shoot and hi res dvd of proofs I think is $1500. you can have album made afterward and I think his prices are reasonable and he offers diff styles.
