HELP! Make-Up cancelled....MAC Info anyone??

So my make-up artist is having health problems and I need to cancel with her....and it's just about 2 months until the wedding!! I'm looking into a few other people but does anyone have experience with MAC Artists? I'm going to be on LI for my shower next weekend and none of the other people I've looked at can do a trial that weekend so I was thinking of going to the MAC Counter at the Smithhaven Mall Macys....has anyone been there? Do you need to call ahead? I have NEVER done this so any info you can provide would be great!! If you like it do you have to go back there for make-up the day of, or can they free-lance and come to your house??

I'm clueless!!! TIA!!!!!!

someone at mac commented on my e-ring and asked if i needed a makeup artist

i highly recommend my makeup artist but she's probably booked since you have such a popular date.. you never know, FM me if you want her info

you can look at my make up trials the second one was done by a girl who works in smithhaven. I have her number fm Me if you need it. she will come to your house.

If you are going to mac on a weekend i would make an appointment. I don't know about the ones in smithhaven but all the one is roosevelt fleid are crazy on the weekends

I used a former MAC makeup artist- Sabrina from Hair Expo in Oceanside- her and Carolyn are vendors here on LIW- she's terrific and I can't stop raving about her... she's also reasonably priced as well.

there is a girl that luvmyalfonse (jen) has introducted to the boards and I have been so impressed with all the trials the girls that are using her have posted. I don't remember her name, jennifer maybe? But FM luvmyalfonse she can give you more details.

If you go to the mac store, i believe you have to purchase atleast 4 products. But if you book one of the girls she will bring everything you need for the day of. Each artist charges has their own prices.
