Re: Help Me Choose My POTS ladies!
thanks for the input! I am currently reseaching all brands, so that I can narrow my choice down. I didn't want to just choose anything!
my main thing is that i don't want something that takes forever to heat, i want it to be non stick/easy clean up, and something that isn't too heavy.

Re: Help Me Choose My POTS ladies!
I registered for Calphalon. I LOVE to cook, so I wanted a good set. But to me All Clad is for the professionals...so I figured Calphalon was just one step down....not professional, but not for the beginner cook either.
Here's the set I registered for (FH's parents bought them for us):

The Calphalon will last you longer than the kitchen-aid or Farberware pots. The ladies at Macy's and BBB were very helpful in distinguishing differences between the sets for us.
We love to cook and put the Calphalon on our registry to replace the 'starter' set we originally bought that is now in need of replacing after only a year!

Re: Help Me Choose My POTS ladies!
We went with
Anolon Advanced 12 piece set! Yes we alos got the double bonus as well!!
Also always register for at least 1 cast iron they are the best! Oh & Yes we cook all of the time & my DH owns a pizzeria restaurant. So he choose these & we already have some All Clad & real restaurant pots & pans.
we went with the all clad stainless steel. we already got the wok and we love it. it heats up really quickly, great to cook with, and easy to clean. its a little heavy though lol

If you don't do All Clad, I would do Calphalon. Both have really great and durable cookware. Good luck!
