My invitations have plum ribbon on them the same color as my BM gowns. I can order the SAME ribbon for my favors for $70, or I can order a light lavendar ribbon from another vendor for $35 (lavendar is also in the color scheme).
With either color, what color printed ribbon (Wedding of Jenn and Doug 6-19-11) should I get?

IMHO, most people (not parents, & maybe not BP) but most people would toss the ribbon, why spend double? I know it's only a difference of $35 but why spend it?

Jenn:
This is who I use to purchase ribbons. My whole family does-- she has the BEST prices-- i checked to see if she has your color and she does. just wanted to throw it out there so you wouldnt have to settle.
don't spend ittt, Especially is lavendar is part of the color scheme anyway

To be clear, I'm questioning the large 1.5 inch ribbon to wrap around the entire favor, and then also adding the smaller printed ribbon

i would never spend $70 on ribbon, sorry, imo, no one is going to care about this as much as you are. go with the lavender, its still part of the color scheme
