Okay so girls i brought home a new kitty tonight. My cat Tiger has been somewhat okay but he can get a bit aggressive. He's been pawing at him and i'm afraid one time he'll really hurt the kitty. What did you girls do???
What do we do about tonight? Tiger usually sleeps with us. But since the house is kind of big... do we just let them both roam and hope that Tiger doesn't hurt the new kitty??? Or do we lock them both in our room for the night?
***ETA: Any name suggestions?

I would say keep the kitten in a room and slowly introduce them to each other more and more. I think all cats are pretty territorial and it is normal for the older one to not like the new one right away, it takes time. And even if you didn't have a cat already I would say to keep the kitten in a room until the kitten gets more used to the house.
i agree, i'd isolate the new kitty a-for safety and b-to slowly get them used to one another.

Pumpkins? :) ok , so she's not orange but I love names that are terms of endearment...
Nothing wrong with callig her kitty either, i call my cat kitty even though her name is kittycat, yeah real original, i know! :)
my other cat i call skitter 'cus she's a scaredy cat... i think once your cat's personality emerges it'll be easier to find a name

Yeah no. No cool names for a kitty that we could think of as far as star wars is concerned. And our dog (whenever we get a dog) is going to be named Jedi. That's locked in stone as far as steve is concerned.
