Oh geez...... I ordered my dress combo at Wedding Salon 2 months ago. You can see pics of it in my album.
The combo I got was bustier-silk white (as pictured)
Skirt-ivory (the one in the pic is 'honey' which is darker than it WILL be)
Sash--Ivory.
UGGGGG...I'm having sash doubts. I'm going there Saturday and I'm going to see is they can switch the order for the sash to another one. I realize now I want a pop of color. That shouldn't be too big of a fiasco So here are the color choices I found online (compliments of preownedweddingdresses.com): Keep in mind I'm doing the 4' sash
#1-Latte Sash (mine won't have the rose thing) #2 Bronze sash #3 Sage sash
*any of the colors would go with whatever I choose for Bridesmaids. *My favorite is the latte I think. UG it's so confusing!
I actually like the bronze...i think it give more of a contrast than the latte!

i like the latte and bronze, but I also feel that with the bronze you do get a bit more of a contrast so i like that about it.

Get 2 colors and wear one for your ceremony and the other for reception....i did that for mine!!

Separate..so I could realistically do 2 sashes if I wanted to. But Monique Lhuillier Sashes are $$$$.
Now that the details of my planning are coming together, now I want a bit of contrast added into my gown. I'm finally embracing the whole 'autumn bride' thing and the latte goes perfectly with the feel of the wedding.... Hopefully it won't be too dramatic when I tell them.I don't want to pay for another sash..

Its definitely between the latte and the bronze... My dress is going to be lighter than both the pics on the left (the color in those pics is sherbert, mine is silk white and ivory), which is why I'm leaning toward latte.
BUT....it would be a completely different story when I get there and see the colors in person.

OK.... this might be too much color but what if you got the sash in the color to match your shoes?

I thought about that-the dress is so 'soft' with all the draping and lace that I think it would be too much....Its a tough dress b/c things can easily overpower it. So I think staying neutral is probably best. Monique does this color now called mushroom on some gowns..Its really good, another variation on the latte. maybe it will come in a sash color. Oooh I wish I could play hookie from work tomorrow and go look, I'll have to wait till Saturday.
