Ladies, I need your help picking a song for the video from our E-pic shoot. We can't really agree on anything, and since we havent finalized our first dance song yet we're having trouble deciding if it matters whether or not it's the same song.
what do you think? the video will be playing on a loop at our guest book table during the reception. Guests probably won't even hear it over the band.
Start suggesting songs!
Also... do you think that it's okay to use Paradise By the Dashboard Light or Anything For Love by Meatloaf even though neither are really a 'happy song' Both songs have a special meaning to us.

That is a happy song! I think any song that means something to you and FH is perfect!

definitely use it at the reception - I LOVE the idea!!!
I'd say use whatever damned song you want! You will be the ones to see it most often - so make it something you'll want to watch!!

ooo! good suggestion! thanks bunches. that's the kind of music we both listen too. I listen to EVERYTHING he doesn't. He's a Stones, Beatles, Pink Floyd, Meatloaf fan... Guns & Roses too...
all of 'our' songs, are bittersweet or sad b/c we had a complicated courtship. a lot of them are more like breakup songs than wedding songs.

I think Will is all 'greased out' his mom is obsessed with the movie and it's one of my faves.
Paradise is one of our songs. We sing it all the time... it's been one of our songs since before we were dating. The last few moments of the song are keeping us from using it though.

well, it doesnt HAVE to be. But we kind of want rock. Something 'differant' I think we might use Accidentally In Love which isn't really 'different' but it describes us perfect since we were best friends and i was with someone else when we fell in love

i've never heard that song before, i really like it!!
what about 'be my yoko ono' ????
hehe, that's one of our songs too. hence the user name. we might use it for a first dance song though so we're not sure we want to use it. also the Yoko Ono thing is a wierd inside joke that started from what was supposed to be an insult from our old friends. It's on the list though! i listen to that song at least once a day lol

we're huge beatles fans so one of their songs is definitely a possibility.
the shoot was fun, but i didn't like how i looked on his camera. I am very self concious and never like any pics of me so i wasn't surprised. It was also super windy so my hair was a mess. lol It was lots of fun and a great way to get to know Tom and get comfortable working with him.
