Help me resolve an argument

Help me resolve an argument

Without getting into the boring details....

would you say that asking wedding guests to fold chairs after an outdoor ceremony and then ask some guests to serve lemonade to other guests arriving to the ceremony is tacky?

I put just 'tacky' because although I think it's SUPER TACKY I think it depends on the formality of the event, the size, whether the 'guests' are family or not. It sounds like something my family would do.

OK, I can’t resist sharing this with my ’05 sisters.

FH’s aunt is constantly making comments and snide remarks about our wedding taking place on a Sunday and how that is unheard of for Catholics to get married on a Sunday (she is out of state and CLUELESS!)

So you guessed it…. at her daughters wedding 2 years ago, she actually asked the wedding guests to fold their own chairs and put each one in a bag that was provided.

AND.... she asked me and a few other people to serve lemonade to arriving guests.

this aunt is a beyotch & a snob, so I find it very funny that her own daughters wedding was so darn TACKY!

please! don't even get me going with this aunt. I guess in Ohio, Catholics don't get married on a Sunday (which is probably not true anyway).

In general I think asking guests to move chairs isn't a good idea. Especailly if the wedding is formal.

If you need some people to serve lemonade I think it would be better to ask a relative or very close family friend.
