Help me think of a 50th Bday present for my Mom!!!
My mom's big 5-0 is in March, and I'm trying to think of something for her that's appropriate...I want to budget for it in February because I might have extra money on account of my own bday, and because March is just going to be a mess with car inspection and service, dentist, contacts and eye dr, and just a load of costs BAH.
So my mom is extremely difficult to buy for. She doesn't like many restaurants because she's very fussy about cleanliness. She doesn't like people touching her, so a spa certificate is out. She has tons of candles and decor stuff, so that's out, plus I want to get her something nice (budget within reason).
What do you get for the person who's a PITA to shop for??? All she EVER says that she wants is 'Just two good little girls...'
And since that's not happening, I'm stuck.
Any suggestions?

ok maybe if u give me some intrests like music or hobbies or something..but f she really does not anything..buy her dress for the wedding for her?maybe?..or maybe u can make a giant scrapbook celebrating her big 50 which includes her wedding pics,her fav places,pics of her two girls,things like that..hth ill think some more

She doesn't have any hobbies, like anything, and she already has her dress. UGH.
I don't even know if a scrapbook could work because we don't have many family photos

I got my mom two tickets to see Celine Dion for her 50th then I went with her becuase my dad is SO not a fan. Are there any artists coming to town? Maybe a Broadway show?

what if u just do a girls night in with u and ur sis..no boys..can watch a movie,get some pizza,and just hang out the three of u..u guys can bake her a cake?

FH got me a gift cert here one year: http://www.excitations.com/ Some things are worth what you pay on there, others are not. You could also look at what they offer for good ideas.
You could also get her a club subscription. There are so many out there: http://www.amazingclubs.com/ It's expensive, but i think it's so cool to get flowers delivered every month. Actually, i'd like pretty much all of those clubs!
