Out of those three I've only been to Flowerfield - and it was amazing. The CH room is so pretty and unique, the food was delicious, the service was great - you can't go wrong with them!

Who gives the most extras for your money? etc HTH

Re: help me....Royalton, Woodmere Club or Flowerfields?????

Flowerfields and the Royalton were my top two and I went with the Royalton because it had a very different feel from any wedding venue I have ever been to. I felt like I was at home, except my home would not fill up the dance floor in that place! And since I was from Queens and most of the people I am i nviting are from the City or Nasau county, it seemed way more convenient. I also have to say that the service at the Royalton, so far, has been outstanding. And from what I hear, it will only get better.

Of course, I am prejudice because I am in the midst of planning my wedding at the Royalton. Hope this helps!

Royalton bride as well and Flowerfields was my second choice and Woodmere was in the running.

These are the things I considered:

1. Flowerfields is a catering hall anyway you look at it...their menu is set and you cannot vary from it. If it is not a beautiful day you must get married in their atrium which has an odor from the humidity. And their main room is a catering hall room, nice but catering hall.

2. Woodmere country club.. no outside ceremony and why because the planes fly so low it is so loud. Very beautiful ceremony room but I didn't like the cocktail hour being in two separate rooms (depending on the size of your party) and the lobby was a little old looking..

3.. The Royalton...your own special menu beautiful gardens. NO CARPET in the ballroom..big plus... you get whole house to yourself and they cater exclusivly to you and there have been nothing but raves about the place. I also found I got a much better price and package with the Royalton then with either of the other two.

Good luck I'm sure you'll make the right decision but ask anyone who has booked the royalton. We all know the guys, Mike, Gerard and Mike T by name they are very warm and attentitive.

PS..don't know where you are coming from but the Royalton is much better location then either of the other two as well.

I just got married at Land's End so I have to say Flowerfield's b/c I still cannot get over the amazing service AND food that you get from Lovin' Oven - it's unbeatable.

Royalton Bride here so i'm also biased but the food is sooooo good at the royalton and I loved the hard wood floors.

Also, not as many people have heard of the royalton which I love, b/c every other place i felt like people were telling me about the other weddings they went to there....

I attended a wedding at Flowerfield and it was gorgeous. My only issues were...(and yes they may be petty but as a wedding guest I noticed them)...Ceremony was to start at 11:30am per the invite, so they were serving Mimosas and Bloody Mary's for those who arrived early...well the ceremony didn't start until Noon, so by mid cocktail hour people were very tipsy. It wasn't Flowerfields fault. It was the B & G for putting there ceremony time a half hour earlier than they needed to. And the bartenders didn't know how to make certain drinks...i.e. a proper bloody mary, or during the reception a half way decent Cosmo. I had to give the bartender my Cosmo recipe.
The food was AMAZING!!!! And the servers are so knowledgeable of the food, while our server was explaining the entrees...I could actually taste them. And to top it off...they tasted even better than they sounded. Plus they offered a wine that complemented the food.
Also, the grounds are simply gorgeous!

Lovin Oven BMs tell us to put a half-hour earlier on the invite because of the half-hour hospitality. guests have a choice of water or alcoholic drinks... It's designed that way so that if people are late they won't miss or disrupt the ceremony.
I went to a wedding a couple of weeks ago at another RH and we were 5 minutes late due to traffic. We felt so bad and embarassed....everyone was seated and they had already started the processional when we arrived.
