Hah thought it was urgent huh? LOL well it is. Sorta. I need to get my nails donw today because the weekend is shot and so is next week and then bah BOOM! Wedding is Sunday. I usually use press ons so don't know where to go to do my nails-I want to do acryllic just to avoid one 'falling off' ay an inopportune time. I don't know NJ yet so I am looking for places in the city.
Preferably the mid to lower West Side but at this point I will take anywhere that is clean and people think would do a good job and are reasonably priced.

be careful with midtown salons, alot of them will charge $65 just for manicure
Theres a place called Diva or wait is it dashing diva, they have quite a few in the city, good prices and they serve you drinks while you're there...ill try to find info
I go to Spa Butterfly on 44th between Lexington and 3rd. It's really clean and they only charge about $12 for a manicure. Here is the link:

I'm down in the World Financial Center and go to a salon right outside of my building, but I don't know if that's too far south for you. I think it's about $15 for a mani, $30 for pedi.

I've been to Dashing Diva in the village on 8th street - it is cute and if you go after work they'll give you a cosmo while they do your pedicure!!!
I'd also recommend Bliss on 49th!!!
Or, if you REALLY want to treat yourself, go to Just Calm Down - its in the 20s and man oh man is that place PAMPERING HEAVEN!!!!!!!!

oh to clairty the $65 for manicure and $85 for pedicure wont be at the korean salons, its the european salons

Acqua Beauty Bar on 14th. I've actually only been there for massages, but the place is nicer than your avg. salon, but not too pricey. I think they charge $50 for mani/pedi, but you should call.

I live on the upper west side and pay $19.99 for a manicure and pedicure. It's on Columbus Avenue and 72nd? Around there. I just go up Columbus from 70th and find it!!!

If you need midtown, I recommend Lily's Nails on 56th between 6th and 5th Ave's. It's on a second floor.
Regular mani - $8 French mani - $11
Any processes (tips, acrylic, etc) cost more like $35 and up.
