It's hard to say. Everyonr kept telling me that about 25% don't show up but everyones family is different. So far I have 98 yes & 4 no.
Try to figure out who you think would be definates & maybes. If there are 10 maybes, then invite 10 extra. That's what I would do.
Any other ladies have any suggestions?

I did not believe the 20% would not come to the wedding, but it really is true... you should definitely invite over 100, but not too many more. It is really a guess, and unfortunately the 'no' responses are going to be close to the response date which means too late to invite more people. Are you inviting people with a guest? That also affects your guess if all 100 are going to come...

I would invite the 100 hundred with a side list of about 10 - 20 ppl... sounds terrible, but a secondary list.
Make your RSVP date early enough this way you can always send out your second batch...
We are having a serious problem with ppl who don't like to RSVP, so we ordered a smaller batch of RSVP cards with a later date for those who are on the secondary list - so they don't feel like they were secondary??? I don't know if I'm confusing or not.

Or

You can just send in batches, 50 here, another 25 there and see what comes back... and those who say no, you can always add more invites from your secondary list.

It honestly depends on the 100 people you invited. Are they all close family who live close by or are some more distant relatives that you aren't sure will come anyways?

I would go over the list and everyone you have as a definite put in one category and the ones you aren't sure put in another. Figure at least 1/4 of those won't come.

You said you definitely don't want more than 100, so play it on the low side.

Good Luck!

I would make a B list of 10-20 people for backup in case you do get no's. Have a second set of RSVP's with a later date so they don't realize they are on the B list.
