help picking ceremony music

Hi
I have my entrance, exit, communion songs all picked but how do you know what songs you can pick from for the other things during the mass? I have the book and the cd and all that but it says nothing about like you can pick from these 5 songs for flowers to the blessed mother for example. Help

i was tol that they give us this info at pre-cana. Di they give you this info re:songs to pick from??

I got information on songs at pre cana and I am meeting with the priest from my church to help us pick out the music for the ceremony.

I have pre-cana this weekend, I'll ask if they have some sort of a list and post it next week if I get one.

If you're looking for a song for the flowers to the blessed mother a lot of people choose 'Ave Maria'. Just a suggestion

I went to Pre Cana last weekend and they were no help. They gave a list of the songs that we needed to pick (entrance music, communion music, flowers to the blessed mother, etc.) but didn't give us a list of song possibilities. When I asked them, they said that I should speak to the organist at my church. So, I called and made an appt. to speak with him next weekend. Sorry that I was no help.

I had to call the church music director and discuss the songs w/ her.
