Okay, FH and I have pretty much officially decided on getting married in Jamica. The legal requirements are much easier to deal with compared to Mexico and it's an affordable destination for our guests. We're now debating which hotel to pick for our wedding. I'm leaning towards the Riu hotels but FH likes Breezes because of all the included activities. I like Riu Ocho Rios because if we have enough money we can have our ceremony and reception at http://www.ruinsjamaica.com. We do not plan on having any children attend. Our group will range in age from mid-twenties to mid-thirties. I researched like crazy and I'm still not sure. We still have plenty of time but I like to get everything planned in advance. If you've been to Jamica any advice is appreciated, especially if you've stayed at any of these hotels. Thanks!!!!!

I stayed in Ocho Rios but not the RIU. I have heard EXCELLENT things about all RIU hotels so I dont think you can go wrong with one of those...but coming from someone who travels to the islands often, definitely get the All Inclusive plan! It's soooooo worth it! I really enjoyed Ocho Rios, there was a lot to do and a lot to see!

Sorry....I don't have any info on those places, but did you check out Sandals and Secrets Excellence? They're AMAZING!! We were once thinking about having a wedding at one or the other too!
