I am of no help for places to go - but I just use a jewelry cleaner that my father gave me - can remember the name of it...it is a jar that has a pink liquid in it that I leave the ring in for a few minutes before rinsing it off. It works wonders for my ring!

if you walk into any jewelry store and pretend to look at stuff they will do it for you! they'll prob even do it if you just ask

I think any of the jewelery stores in the mall can clean your ring for you. I know a friend had hers cleaned from the one closest to JCPenney. I dont know the name of it though.

Actually, I went to tri-county and they did it for me for free. But at the time, I was looking for wedding bands. You could probably try there. Too bad Shopper's Village closed down, I would have told you to go to their jewelry section.

I have never been, but Stein Family Jeweler is right on Hempstead Turnpike in front of A&S bagels. And there is new jewelry store on the corner of Hempstead Turnpike and Westminster Road in West Hempstead.

You could try them out if you don't want to trek over to Roosevelt Field.

i don't think you should use a toothbrush. i was told that loosens up the diamonds especially if you have small ones on the band. i don't rub anything against the diamond except a soft cloth.

My ring is not from Helzberg but I've gotten it cleaned there and I think they do the best job, by far. Better than the diamond district!
