Really??? That's not bad for any part of it? I would LOVE to do that... (I used listerine and an old toothbrush once and FH YELLED at me...... He was so mad... but the ring was SPARKLING for like 4 days... and I never take it off... shower, bed, etc...)

i don't think you should use a toothbrush. i was told that loosens up the diamonds especially if you have small ones on the band. i don't rub anything against the diamond except a soft cloth.

Oh good call. I never thought of that. I have heard that sleeping with it can also loosen the stones bc the sheets can get caught in between the prongs... but if I didn't sleep with it, I'd never be able to wear it bc my fingers swell so much (my knuckles are already bigger than my fingers as it is)
