HELP!!/Question about my theme

This might be a little silly but I need your input. Im going nuts!

Ok, I am planning on having a 'Precious Moments' theme for my wedding. However, some nasty girls on 'The Knot' totally made me want to change my mind. I love precious moments... ever since I was little. Mind you, Im only 21. Hehe. And it certainly means something to me especially since me and FH are still young kids But those nasty girls had so much bad stuff to say and put everybody down who was gonna use that theme. They said 'Precious Moment' characters are ugly, scarey and repulsive. They were soooo mean! I never, ever read any nasty stuff from the girls on this site. Even if you guys disagree on something or dont like it, you totally dont try to make people feel stupid.

On that note... do you think its corny? cute? Puuh-lease help me! I need some advice.

first of all I am also getting married at Leonards to a service man!! Mine isa Marine however.

I like your theme and I think you should go for it. Was this on the military section of the knot or the general section?? The military section is ufually pretty nice but they warned me about other areas of the boards.

Go with what you want, I think Precious Moments are beautiful.

First of all... we are not supposed to tear eachother down... and be nasty to one another. Everyone has their own idea of what is cute or special to them. Don't let anyone take that away from you.

My personal experience has been negative with the girls on the knot. I don't post there for that reason.

I find nicer people here who are more interested in helping than hurting.



ETA: I was so worked up about the negative reaction to your theme that I forgot to tell you I LOVE PRECIOUS MOMENTS!

Its not corny at all and remember its YOUR day so do what YOU want, I happen to think they are cute. I have some of their figurines. I see them used as cake toppers a lot too, go with your heart, dont worry about what those girls on the knot said.

i think its a really cute idea.. and i especially like it because it has meaning for you. i definitely think you should go with it.

not only do i think it is a cute idea, but since it means something sentimental to you and your FH, i think that makes it even more special!

go for it....and don't let other people try to talk you out of it.....it's your wedding!!! (keep that in mind as your mantra during the planning process )

don't let anyone bother you. i like precious moments. i think if that's what you like do it! i love kim anderson, i'm using alot of that stuff at the wedding, i don't care what anyone says!!

don't listen to those girls.. you need to do what you want to do. if you like precious moments i think you should go for it.. i love kim anderson i was debating to use them vs. precious moments.. i love them both

I think precious moments are cute, I was actually thinking of using them for a cake topper. I am going with a valentines theme and some might think its corny but its what I love, so don't let anyone change your mind!!

Well, when we post we open ourselves to other's opinions. Don't let their opinions change yours. I think it's a lovely idea, and even if I didn't I'd say if you like it, GO FOR IT! It's your wedding.

Don't listen to the girls on the knot. They are RUDE about everything. I remember posting my apartment on there and they were all very nasty to me.

Prescious Moments are adorable, I say go for it.

I used to read some of the posts on theknot but it's not worth it to reply on there. They are all Nasty!!! The knot is also good for the pictures on the magnificentbliss page.
