I was hoping you could help me put together a list of small wedding venue/restaurants for my sister who just got engaged. This will be a second marriage, so they do not want anything big...just immediate family. There will definitely be less than 50 people there, but more than 25. So anywhere in that range.
Does anyone have any suggestions on where she should look? They want it to be an intimate setting.

Prime! www.restaurantprime.com It's located in Huntington Harbor on the water. They have 2 private rooms. The food, the venue, the view is outstanding!
LaMarmite Williston Park: www.iamarmiterestaurant.com They have a very private room in the back of the venue. The food is amazing. Clark Gardens is right there to do photos.
We have been to weddings in both venues. Because of those weddings we go to dinner often at both places. Both are very good.

Try the Riverview. It's really pretty and right on the water. The recently updated the room. We almost got married there but they only do daytime weddings.

Def check out Westbury Manor Irish Coffee Pub Captain Bills Verdi's Snapper Inn McQuade's in Lynbrook - private room in the back. I was eating dinner there when a sweet 16 was going on and they had a DJ so it could work

I definitely recommend Franks Steakhouse in Rockville Centre. Ask to speak to Maury!!
He helped my MOH coordinate my BS and helped my DH and I with our RD. The most amazing service, food was superb and they work with a florist from across the street which gives a discount on floral arrangements.
They have several different menu's and they include an occasion cake. I definitely recommend the cannoli cake.
For my BS we had the brunch and for the RD we had the Bronze menu.
Here is just a sample of the flowers I got. Simple but perfect.
