HELP! sticker removal

HELP! sticker removal

What's the best way to remove price stickers from jewelry boxes without leaving that ugly sticker stain/gunk? I pulled and scratched most of everything off but there's still that streak of stickiness. Also, there's that anti-theft metal sticker thing that left a large chunk of glue. The boxes are made of shiny, black coated paper.

I'm planning to give these necklaces to my BMs as a gift but I'm afraid the boxes will cheapen the look!

If the sticker residue on the boxes bother you, maybe you can put a ribbon on the ox to cover the residue or put the necklaces in a new box?

Goo gone for sure - they sell it at Stop & Shop in the cleaning isle. One drop should do the job and the bottle will last you years! Good luck!
