My FH and I have looked at several reception sites...we want our ceremony held there also....we could do a church wedding but too much of a hassle and we want the ease of convenience on our wedding day for us and our guests.....are there any reception halls that have free or included chapel service? Everyone has chapels which need to be greatly decorated, all outside which is what we want but not at the add-on prices they're throwing at us? Any suggestions pls....thanks

Re: Help tired of looking....
We are getting married at our hall...but we had to pay extra for the ceremony. I don't think anything is 'free', but maybe you can negotiate the price down...I did. Good luck!

We're also getting married at the catering hall and we paid extra for it. They did include the runner, flowers with the extra cost.
I don't think there are catering halls that throw it in for free but you can try to negotiate with them to add something else.
Good luck!

We're getting married at the hall but there is an extra cost. It is outside so we don't have to do much decorating.

I'm getting married at Sunset Harbour in Patchogue. They don't have a 'chappel' but you can have your ceremony there- also try Chatau La Mer in Lindenhurst.

A friend of mine got hers thrown in but she is getting married in the off season (a sunday in november) at a place on the water. During the peak season I doubt you will find someplace to throw it in. But remember even at a church you pay 300-500 for the wedding!

I'm getting married at the Milleridge Cottage and also had to pay extra for the ceremony...but, included in that price were the flowers for the archway...so in a way we saved on having to decorate a church with flowers and pew bows, etc., etc.

Don't know how many people you are planning on having, but the George Washingotn Manor has an on-site chapel, I believe there is a fee though--just about any place will charge you for a site fee.
