so fh and i, have a surprise at our wedding for our guests

however, the surprise will be around 11 pm

reception starts at 730pm.

what time is VH normally?

our surprise will be during the 'extra hour' we added on to the wedding, so 11, 1130pm

how do i let guests know or should i let guests know there will be a surprise?

i dont want too many guests leaving early...we paid a lot of money for it so i want to make sure that the guests see it and use it and are there for it

should i put it on the menu?
should i put it on fb?
word of mouth?

help!!

We're Having a Surprise too... We mentioned it on the website, and we put something on the menu:

* At 8:30pm The New Mr. & Mrs. invite you to join them back where they exchanged vows for a Seaside Surprise *

Maybe make a little card that you can put on the tables or on every person's plate...something along the lines of make sure you keep your energy all the night long, because we haev a surprise for everyone starting at 11 o'clock (obviously better wording than this )

And then have the DJ maybe do something where an hour before he announces it again saying there's a surprise as a reminder.

My only concern is that sometimes when you know there is a surprise you start thinking big..then when it comes sometimes you are disappointed (even though it is great) because you thought it was going to be something else...
