I'm not sure of prices because I don't when you're flying but I think average is $400 maybe. Check American and JetBlue, I think they are the main carriers

If you are going to the Caribbean (I think the sale includes Puerto Rico) this fall American Airlines is having a sale right now!

Jet Blue has a $99 one way fair, but it is odd hours and you have to luck out getting the flight. It fills up quick.

I am taking a cruise from Nov. 2-9 (Sunday to Sunday) and we want to fly in a day early.

Jet Blue is $701.60, non-stop
Travelocity is $561.60 on American, non-stop

My SIL just booked our in-laws to come in October from San Juan to JFK for $158 round trip on Jet Blue!!! We were excited that it was so cheap!!!

I think it really depends on the time of year...

american airlines has a deal $163 each round trip from sept to dec (some dates blocked in nov and dec)

306 on jetblue per person, and I didn't pick the cheapest flights.

If you have the extra money to spend, go with Jet Blue. FH and I flew on American to PR in May and it was delayed on the way there and on the way back. Which wasn't the biggest deal to us. But their customer service S UCKED!! (not so much in NY, but in PR) All my FH kept on saying is that he should've booked Jet Blue.
He got a package deal through Orbitz.
