Help with a shower

My sister is getting Married in September and I have been looking at places to have her bridal shower and I have not found anything I love. Where did you guys have yours or do you have any suggestions on where to have it. She just did such a good job for me and I want to make sure I find the perfect place for her. We live in Suffolk and I have no problem going into Nassau and we love all types of food so please feel free.

Im trying to do the same thing for a friend of mine & The Carton looks great! Any idea on how much per person?
We need a place for 125 people.
Captain Bill's in Sayville (i think) has party rooms available & the food is very good. I've been to a few functions there.

Re: Help with a shower

My shower was at Lombardi's On The Sound. The food was excellent and so was the service. They have a room upstairs from their main reception hall that they hold showers in, with an outside deck and beautiful views of the sound. Oddly enough, a wedding was cancelled that was supposed to happen the day of my shower, so they gave us the main reception room, just some parts were sectioned off. My mom threw it for me in June, the weather was perfect and everyone loved going outside to enjoy it. It was almost hard getting the ladies to come in to watch me open my gifts, they were having such a great time!
