Help with Places!!

If you are only having 120 people you could try Danford's in Port Jefferson. It's not a typical "LI wedding hall". But it's right on the harbor and the town is adorable. We are getting married there in June 2001. Good luck!

Well, we just set our date 2 weeks ago...May 5, 2001 and already I am having a problem getting a hall!! Fox Hollow, Crest Hollow, Chateau Briand, Westbury Manor, The Riviera, John Anthony's -- all booked!! Just a little stressful , LOL! Anyone know anything about Sans Souci, Sail Harbor, GW Manor or the hotels like Hilton Huntington and the Wyndham Wind Watch? I'm stressing already and things just started...here we go! By the way I'm only having max 120 people. Thanks gang!

Lorraine and others...

Help with Places!!-Weather

How do you find out the statistics on the weather? I know that there are times of the year that the weather is generally good or bad but is there a source book with the weather history?

I am getting married at the Woodbury Country Club I would recommend it they have room that will accommadate 120 people.

Our cost per tux - inc. shoes, cufflinks, sales tax etc. - was $145 each. Yes, you CAN get it cheaper...But Paul really liked the staff (clearly knowledgable!) & the quality of the material....and since I spent over $1200 on my attire for the day, I figured spending another $50 to make him feel good was certainly worth it!

This information is great!- Thanks.

I'm right behind you with 33 days to go. How scary is that? I can't believe it's so soon.

Good luck and we're all praying for great weather for all of us!!!
