Help with Ring Bearers!

Hi Girls,

I have a weird question! FH and I don't have any young children in our family but I still want a traditional wedding party. I'm 99.9% sure that I'm going to be asking a close family member of ours to have her two sons as our ring bearers.

Typically DOW, the boys get ready with the boys and the girls get ready with the girls, but because I'm closer to their mom and they are closer to me rather than FH, can I have them get ready with me?? Would it be weird?? I really want them to be a part of the morning of as well, and not just meet us at church. They are of age that they will remember most of the day.

Any input would be greatly appreciated!

I don't think it's a big deal at all to have them get ready with you! I feel like it would actually be more of a convenience for their mom too if she's closer to you than your FH!

I don't think it's weird at all. As long as you think the boys won't feel weird about hanging out with a bunch of girls lol I'm sure mom would be much happier too!
