My FH is a huge yankee fan... im having a yankee tossing garter and also we are doing a grooms cake and i havent decided yet but its going to be yankee themed maybe huge and circular with the logo screened on the top or diamond shaped with a baseball diamond including bases, and yankee logo on the middle were the pitchers mound is should be. The cake is totally a surprise and doesnt go with my theme but anything for my baby!
My wedding is obviously also during the World Series. I don't agree to have a TV anywhere near the wedding reception. That would be totally inappropriate. Besides, it's just one game.
If people are going to want to watch a baseball game over enjoying your wedding, then they shouldn't be there to begin with. People will come to your wedding regardless... you shouldn't have to incorporate baseball into your wedding just because the world series is that weekend... if you want to then that is great.. but just to appease a few guests, i don't think it is necessary. This is your WEDDING... as big a baseball fan I am... i wouldn't want to let that overtake my wedding.

Espo yours might be worse!!! At least we dont know if Mets or Yanks will be playing in late October. You got the double whammy, poor baby!
They can suck it up for one night of fun though! Tell those boys!
