Helpful wedding books?

I just got a $100 gift certificate to Amazon (yay!) and am looking at all the wedding books... anyone have suggestions for books they found helpful? I've already read Bridezilla (funny!), and have 1001 Ways to Save Money and Still Have a Dazzling Wedding. Other suggestions?

Re: Helpful wedding books?

in all honesty, i found the magazines to be more helpful, like martha stewart, modern bride, the knot...i made my own planner b/c the planners i saw just weren't cutting it and i found a lot of info in magazines and on the internet as to what questions i should ask, etc. i also just got an amazon g/c and i am actually getting the corset thing to wear under my dress. saves me another thing to buy!

Re: Helpful wedding books?

I agree with Cocoa, I found magazines more helpful and here are some of my favorites:
- The Knot magazine
- Wedding Sites and Services (I liked this one better than Locations magazine)
- Brides magazine
- Modern Bride magazine
- Wedding Flowers (its a British magazine and it has so many types of flowers and bouquets)

I was going to buy one of those hardcovered wedding book/organizer, but I just wanted an organizer part not the book. So instead I just went to Staples and bought an expandable file,

Re: Helpful wedding books?

I also found mags to be more helpful.
I thought Colin Cowies 'Weddings' was very good. Vera Wangs book was nice for the pictures.
