HELP...How do I decide on colors???

I originally wanted my colors lavendar and plum. But FH thought that is too 'Eastery' for Labor Day weekend (I think he was tramatised with nuns in purple as child in catholic school)

I said fine, how about 2 BMs wine/marron & 1 MOH rose pink. He agreed.

Now that I saw Littlecats GEROGOUS rose dresses, I want to change to the Rose color & use the B-Qs that bring back my purple.

Are those too light/springy the Labor Day Sunday?

Jenny, I LOVE those dresses. I think that is a great color to choose!!

Jenny,

go with what you LOVE. The flowers and dresses match perfectly....and don't listen to the garbage about 'summer' colors after Labor Day.....I'm doing periwinkle on March 6th..some people think my color is too summery for that time of year, but I love it.

Those are all beautiful! Go for it! It's your day. :o) I seem to recall coming across a stunning bouquet in my online flower idea search - I seem to recall it having those same colors with an adorable butterfly. Once I find it, I'll post.

The colors of the flowers and dresses are great.. esp since its still summer labor day.

You know what?- we tend to get away from what we want and get into what others want- or may think-(not including FH) those flowers are beautiful- you know why? because its YOUR wedding and if want them go for it- days dont matter-

jenny - I think it is fine for Labor day weekend. Especially in NY usually it is a hot weekend & is still very summer-like. if you ike those colors then do it

I don't thing it would be to 'Easterish' if everyone was in the same colors. My FH was in a wed where each girl (about 5) had a dif color pastel. They looked like a bunch of easter eggs.
