HELPPP!!! I Have heard such mixed reviews on Sandals St. Lucia ..... Has anyone gone recently to tell me what they thought??? And also include which of sandals you stayed at on the island....

well I certainly don't like their prices. they're expensive! I heard the island is nice and the resorts are pretty but the food was ehhh.

Which one, there are three? Ones really beachy, the others close to a golf course, and the other one has AMAZING gardens etc. all obv on the beach, Ive been to two of them, the golf course has a trolley to the other resort.

we just got back from our honeymoon. We stayed at the Regency and the resort was really nice, including the food. The only thing I did not like was that it was TOO packed! If you didnt get to the pool really early in the morning, there was nowhere for you to lay out.. Also the beaches are public and there were a lot of shady people on the beach trying to sell us drugs so we ended up avoiding the beach completely.

My sister stayed at the grande St lucian and visited the others , she said hers was the best. they had a private pool. She loved it and highly recommended that we go too.

We LOVED the Regancy St. Lucia. I have a few pics in my album!!! We had a great time there. If you call them directly sometimes you can get a better rate or an upgrade!!! Plus they are always having sales!!

Hey we stayed at the Grande St. Lucian. The resort was really nice and the staff was pleasant. My only complaint would be that there was nothing ever really going on-and unfortunately while we were there it rained a lot (but we are the type that can't sit still, so I can see that not bothering some). My fiance and I didn't love the food either, but other's there thought it was really good so it might just have been us. Any other q's feel free to FM me.

I can honestly say, that I have ALWAYS wanted to stay at a sandals! That when I got engaged, on my wedding budget I calculated the HM being at a Sandals...until FH and I decided to getaway to Jamaica for a few days and he surprised me with a few days at the Sandals! Since I have stayed at the Sandals Grande in Ocho Rios, I know for a fact that my HM will NOT be at ANY Sandals resorts. I may do Royal Plantation (same owner just more luxury). And while speaking to my brother, who is a photographer that does a lot of work for hotels in the Caribbean, he told me that Sandals really is all about the hype.
The rooms did not say much! Service was ok but I didn't see a product differentiation from any other All-Inclusive Resort that I have been to. IMHO
