Hey girls who are getting married like this month - question for ya?
When you got up to this point did you start seriously worrying about money?? How did u handle it I'm freaking out but i think its just cause how much you have to pay at one time...

YES!!!! with each vendor's final appt I was like HOLY CRAP where did we have that money and where are we getting the money for the next vendor. We have to pay the hall on Tuesday the final huge payment and I have no idea where FH had that money. And in the last month you find all these little things that you have popping up that you forget you had to get and find money for. Its just craziness and was especially bad with the holiday's

Well I'm sorry to say but at this point you really have to have it to pay or the vendor won't show up!!
I know my DJ can be paid at the end of the event so if yours can too maybe have a trusted friend/family member go thru envelopes in the bridal suite to get you some cash to pay them??
Can you borrow $$ from your parents to make these payments then pay back once you put your gifts in the bank?? Will any vendors accept final payment on CC?

I'm sorry that it didn't make you feel better, but it's the truth and its what is actually going on. The thing is we have separate accounts set up for the wedding and FH had one just for the RH and we went over our min by 20 guests so he needed to make sure we had to have enough to cover those extra people.
You just end up finding the money to pay for it somehow

Stacy didn't say anything about not paying them Her concern is the AMOUNT of money to be paid all at one time.
Stacy, I really feel for you and I have 7 more months than you! FH and I put a set amount aside into the wedding fund each week; he also got a sick Xmas bonus which we plopped in ther too, and our tax returns will have paid off the wedding. You just have to sit down and budget to the last penny what each vendor needs and put it in an envelope and don't touch it
