Hey girls.......I won't be on LIW for a while

Ok, so here it is..........

This has been the toughest thing I think I've ever dealt with

My FH and I are going through something right now that is questioning my desire to be with him for the rest of my life. There is a lot to this but to make it short......it is a contolling issue on his part.

Due to some of the things that are going on, I have found myself letting go of parts of who I am just to please him and it's destroying me.

So I am taking time for myself right now. I need to be away from this relationship to find myself again and see if this is something that can be fixed.

This is so hard for me.....as I do love him with ALL of my being, but I can't give up who I am as a person. I know this probably isn't making too much sense..........

I will be back as soon as I figure out what it is I'm going to do......good or bad.

Just wanted to let you all know ......... I hope you all have a wonderful Christmas and I hope to be back on in the New Year!!

Hey, I haven't been posting much, but I've been reading stuff and I just wanted to let you know I'm so sorry to hear about what you're going through. This must be the most difficult time of your life right now, and I felt like I had to write to you and let you know I'll pray for you. I also wanted to tell you that it takes a REALLY strong person to do what you're doing, and when the pain goes away (and it will), you'll look back and be proud of yourself and glad u did this. I really hope the pain goes away as soon as possible. Just a piece of advice.. when it comes to getting married... go with the little voice inside your head. If there's a little voice saying 'not a good idea', then no matter how much you try and make it shut up and reason it out... it will never go away. Wait for the person that will make you 100 million percent sure with noooo doubt in your mind at all. You deserve that, and I'm really proud of you for doing what you're doing. Seriously.

I admire your courage and self-worth! It takes one hell of a person to do what you're doing right now, and the rest of your life will undoubtedly be better because of it, however you decide to go from here. Prayers and peace being wished for you.

I think it is GREAT that you are taking time to examine this and work on it... I really hope it works out for the best. What is meant to be- will ALWAYS find a way!

Just keep that on your mind and hope in your heart... Have faith! Listen to your feelings and go with your gut- don't let 'the wedding' steer any decisions-- Remember, when it is all said and done you only have each other!

Just know, you are doing the right thing! you have to live with your decisions for life, and you need to be sure you are able to do just that!!! take your time.

That is a tough situation. Lots of women lose themselves and who they are but it takes a lot of wisdom to realize that and even more courage and strength to walk away and look at it from a different prespective. I definitely know how you feel. It has happened to me too. You are doing the right thing. I have a feeling that things will work themselves out. Many for you!!!
