omg---i am so sorry that you are going through all that @ once. perhaps you could just scale everything down or is it too late with payments and such that have been made? or maybe borrow the money from family and pay it back after the honeymoon.

I will definetely be praying for your GM. What a horrible thing to happen-I am truly sorry! I will pray for a healing!

Thank you gals for all of your prayers, they must be doing some magic for us.

I am stilll unemployed, but I have some encouraging news about our GM.

He has gone to a new oncologist who has completely changed his diagnosis and his prognosis. The new oncologist is saying that the two cancers are unrelated, and that it did not travel down his spine - this is extremely good news. Also, he has changed his success (I intentionally do not say survival) rate from single digits to almost 40%, which to me is also very encouraging. The oncologist has also said that his chemo will be done 2 weeks before the wededing, and if he wants to he can participate as our GM from a wheelchair. Of, course he is not 100% happy about this, but we are thrilled that the Dr. feels he will be functional by January.

Thanks ladies. FH & I are both visiting with him again tomorrow, and he called this afternoon while we were out & yelled at us for not bringing him to get fitted for his tux in Friday, so I guess he is in good spirits!
